Article Summary

For busy mums, a night out can make all the difference in the world. Although you love being a mum, it's also good to feel like a glamorous, independent woman sometimes!
MUM CARE

With all your attention on the children, it’s very easy to forget to eat healthily yourself.

So do make sure that you, too, are consuming five fruits or vegetables per day, eating a variety of healthy foods and drinking lots of water. The water is essential for the healthy functioning of your kidneys. But the occasional meal out with your partner or at a good friend’s house can do the world of good, so do try to get a babysitter or relative to relieve you from time to time.

Get yourself dressed up for a night out. A relaxing atmosphere in a friend’s house or in the décor of a romantic restaurant, with delicious food and a good bottle of wine, can for a busy mum turn out to feel like she has taken a few days holiday. A mouth-watering chocolate dessert will do no harm on such special occasions.

It is so important for you and your partner to find time together when the main topic of conversation is for once not the children!
